Last weekend we attended the new scout day at the boy scout outdoor education center (OEC), east of town. The event was for the entire council, and there must have been 500 new scouts and their families there. The OEC is the council HQ. They have quite a bit of property, some camping areas, a scout store, and a nice outdoor amphitheatre.
